Characteristics of WithOne Suppository

Effects of carbon dioxide foam

Carbon dioxide generated as a delicate sphere acts on the rectum to gently promote bowel movements. Takes effect approximately 10 to 30 minutes after the suppository is inserted into the anus.

Elderly individuals and constipation

Although constipation is strongly associated with women, after age 70, there is a rapid increase in the number of individuals, male and female, who struggle with constipation. This is caused by loss of muscle strength with age and weakening of the ability to strain with bowel movements.Another cause is reduced food intake. WithOne Suppository is recommended for those who wish to avoid straining with bowel movements or those requiring nursing care.

Instructions for Use

  • 1) How to remove the suppository from the packaging and insert

    • 1) Detach one suppository
    • 2) Remove the suppository container as shown in the figure, and remove the suppository.
    • 3) Hold the end of the suppository (the thin end) with clean fingertips, tissue paper, or gauze, and insert the thick end first into the anus, inserting as deep as possible. If it is difficult to insert, wetting the tip of the suppository (the thick end) with a small amount of water will make it easier to insert.
    • 4) The suppository can be easily inserted by standing up after inserting it in a half-seated position.

  • 2) Precautions after insertion

    Strenuous exercise after insertion of the suppository may cause the suppository to fall out. Refrain from strenuous exercise until after experiencing a bowel movement.

Sodium bicarbonate ... 0.5 g
Anhydrous sodium dihydrogen phosphate ... 0.68 g

Dosage and Administration

Age Dose Administration
Age 12 and older 1 suppository Insert one suppository into the rectum. If no effects are observed, insert one more suppository.
Under age 12 Do not give.
  1. (1) Ensure strict compliance with the specified dosage and administration.
  2. (2) After use of this drug, wait until the urge is stronger to pass a bowel movement.
    (Attempting to defecate immediately after use may lead to excretion of only the drug, making it ineffective.)
  3. (3) Administration of the drug to children age 12 and older should be kept under the direction and guidance of a parent or guardian.
  4. (4) If the drug is soft, use after refrigerating. If it is too hard, leave at room temperature
    (30°C or less) and use after it becomes soft.
  5. (5) Use this drug only in the anus.
